His journey into motorsport began at the age of eight, and he has since developed into one of the most promising young drivers on the UK racing scene.

A Proven Track Record in British and International Karting

Aydan’s early career saw huge success in karting. He has won multiple championships, including titles in the prestigious Super One Series, as well as claiming the O Plate, W Plate, and being named Daniel Ricciardo Series Driver of the Year. His karting experience includes top-level competition at national, British, and international events, representing the UK at the MiniROK World Finals in Italy.

From Karting to Cars – A Rising Talent in the BMW Super Cup

In 2024, Aydan made the leap from karts to cars, entering one of the UK’s most competitive single-make championships: the BMW Super Cup. Despite being new to car racing, he quickly adapted, showing speed, composure, and maturity beyond his years. In 2025, he joins BPC Motorsport, a well-established team known for supporting emerging talent in British motorsport.

Racing with Resilience – Living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

What makes Aydan’s story even more inspiring is his personal battle with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a condition affecting his joints and muscles. Despite this, he continues to race at a high level, using his story to raise awareness for invisible illnesses. Aydan is an ambassador for CRPS and is passionate about showing others that physical limitations don’t have to define their ambitions.

Engineering, Coaching & The Future of Motorsport

Alongside racing, Aydan studies Technical Engineering at Silverstone UTC, developing a deeper understanding of the mechanics behind motorsport. He also coaches younger drivers and takes pride in helping others grow both on and off the track.

Dream. Believe. Achieve.

Aydan Hassan lives by his personal motto: Dream. Believe. Achieve. It perfectly captures his attitude to racing and life. Whether it’s a kart track or the Super Cup grid, Aydan brings passion, resilience, and race-winning focus to every lap.
